INFORMATION SESSION DATES
Now that you’ve enrolled in an online class at IRSC, what’s next? A Virtual Campus Online Student Information Session is something that can help you get started. These sessions are offered at the beginning of each semester and they discuss tips for navigating the Blackboard system, setting up your student email (RiverMail) account, and suggestions for success during your time at IRSC.
There are two ways to attend a Virtual Campus Online Student Information Session, and we’ve listed them below.
1. Virtual Sessions – This forty-five minute virtual session is offered live at various dates and times at the beginning of each semester. Please click here to sign up for a live online session. You will receive an email to your RiverMail (IRSC email address) with a link to the online session the day your registered session is scheduled to begin. You do not need a webcam to attend this session. We recommend that you use Google Chrome to access the session. If you do not have Google Chrome on your computer, you can download it for free at https://www.google.com/chrome/.
2. Self-Instruction – Want to tackle Blackboard on your own time? You can watch a recorded version of the presentation on your own. Just remember, we’re happy to help if you have any questions.
